The government will give an unemployment allowance of Rs 2500 monthly to 12th-pass youth. This scheme has been started from April 1 for the new financial year 2024.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has made provisions in the budget to give Rs 250 crore to lakhs of unemployed. This allowance will be given only to the residents of Chhattisgarh.

Only one person in the family can avail unemployment allowance. On the other hand, the one who quits the job will not get this allowance. On being a family member of a doctor, or lawyer and posted in higher positions, the family member receiving a pension and paying tax of more than 10,000 cannot avail of the allowance.

In any case unemployment allowance will not be given for more than 2 years. If one gets a job in one year, then the allowance will be stopped, otherwise, this allowance will be extended for one more year. Every 6 months there will be an investigation under this scheme.

The age of the applicant should be between 18 to 35. Along with this, the registration in the District Employment and Self Employment Guidance Center should be two years old. The annual income should also not be more than 2.5 lakhs.

Visit the official website exchange.cg.nic.in/exchange/ to apply. Now you can submit the form by filling in all the details here. Then download the form and submit it to the employment office. After this, an unemployment allowance will be issued after the investigation.
