  • Wearing helmet is compulsory for both the riders on two wheeler.
  • 2000 challan can be deducted for not wearing helmet
  • If a child above 4 years of age sits then helmet is necessary for him.
  • 1000 challan even if the rider does not wear helmet while driving two wheeler
  • If there is no BIS mark on the helmet, then an additional challan of Rs 1000

Challan even for wearing slippers

  • It is necessary to wear shoes and full pants while driving a two wheeler, otherwise the challan can be cut
  • Drunk driving is punishable with imprisonment of up to 6 months and/or a fine of up to Rs 10,000.
  • If there is a child on the vehicle, then the speed will also have to be limited to 40 km per hour only.
  • The driving license of the driver may be suspended for three months.
