Toyota Cars! These two powerful cars will launch in India soon, know all the details here

Toyota Cars! Japanese automaker Toyota is preparing to launch many of its vehicles very soon. The company recently launched the new Glanza hatchback in the Indian market. Soon the company will also introduce its new Urban Cruiser. These models are basically re-badged variants of Baleno and Brezza. Toyota is also developing two brand new utility vehicles for the Indian market. These new UVs will be launched in the country in the next 1-2 years.

Toyota D22 Mid-Size SUV

Toyota and Suzuki JV are working on a new mid-size SUV which will have two different derivatives. Toyota’s variant codenamed D22 will be launched before Diwali 2022. The new model will also launch the brand’s low-cost DNGA (Daihatsu New Generation Architecture) platform. The platform is currently based on the Toyota Raize, Daihatsu Rocky and the new Toyota Avanza.

Previous reports suggest that the new Toyota D22 SUV may share styling cues from global Toyota SUVs including the Corolla Cross, RAV4 and Yaris Cross. Not only the styling, the cabin of the upcoming SUV will also be similar to the new Corolla Cross. The SUV is expected to get ADAS technology and many advanced and comfortable features. It will be offered with Toyota’s hybrid technology, which has an electric motor with an internal combustion engine.

Toyota C-Segment MPV

Toyota has also started testing the new C-segment MPV in the country. Codenamed 560B, the new model could replace the Innova Crysta MPV. It is expected to launch in the first half of 2023. The new model is likely to be based on the front-wheel-drive DNGA platform, which will help Toyota to price it competitively.

The new model will share similar features with the new Veloz and Avanza MPV. The next generation Toyota Innova could be slightly smaller than the current model without compromising on the interior space. The Avanza measures 4,475mm, which is about 260mm smaller than the Innova. However, both the models have the same 2,750 mm wheelbase. Toyota has already confirmed that the new Innova will debut a hybrid powertrain. This will help the new model meet the stringent global emission standards
