This electric car will be cheaper than Maruti Alto, features no less than SUV, launching in July

The market of Electric Vehicles is catching up all over the world. The demand for electric vehicles is also increasing in India due to reducing dependence on diesel-petrol and focus on green energy. Be it Electric 2-Wheelers or Electric Cars, many new companies are also entering their business. One such new company is preparing to launch an affordable electric car next month, whose price will be around the Maruti Suzuki Alto.

Mumbai-based startup company PMV Electric has confirmed that it is going to launch its first electric car PMV EaS-E in the market in July. The company has also put an end to the speculations about its prices. According to the information given on the website of PMV Electric, its price is going to be Rs 4 lakh. At present, Maruti Alto is considered to be the cheapest in the market, whose ex-showroom price is between Rs 3.25 lakh to Rs 5.02 lakh.

This car of PMV Electric will be a two-seater. The car is currently in the final prototype stage. It is being said about its design that it is inspired from Citroen AMI and MG E200. At the front, a horizontal strip of LED DRL has been given equal to the bonnet. There are circular headlamps just below the bumpers. The wheels of the car are 13 inches.

On the side, the PMV EaS-E will get a large glass area, multi-spec alloy and four doors. Although even after four doors, the seat in this car will remain two. Looking at the rear, LED taillamps have been given in this car. The company has given a 10kWh Lithium Ion Phosphate battery in this car, along with a 15kW PMSM electric motor. How much talk will this car generate, it is not clear yet, but it has been told that its top speed will be 70 kmph.

Regarding the range of this small electric car, the company says that depending on the variant, it will go from 120 km to 200 km on a full charge once. This car is coming in three variants. It will take about 4 hours for it to be fully charged. The company has given 3kW AC charger with the car.

Talking about other features of the car, the company has claimed to provide touchscreen infotainment system, USB charging port, air conditioner, cruise control, seat belt, rear parking camera, remote keyless entry and parking assist. In the name of driving mode, the company has given Eas-E mode, which is being told that there will be no need to use feet when driving in this mode. For this mode, the company has given control of both the brakes and the accelerator on the steering itself.

PMV Electric has also started booking this proposed car. You can book this car for just Rs.2000. The facility of booking a car is available on the company’s website. The company says that the booking amount is fully refundable. The company says that it will start its delivery after April 2023. The company is bringing this car in many great colors.
