Suresh Raina Retirement: Mr. IPL Suresh Raina, who retired from international cricket on August 5, 2020, will no longer play domestic cricket for IPL and Uttar Pradesh. He has informed the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) about this. Now he will be seen playing in foreign leagues.

Suresh Raina has announced his retirement from all forms of cricket on Twitter. He wrote in an emotional tweet, ‘It is a matter of pride for me to play cricket for the country and the state of Uttar Pradesh. I now announce my retirement from all forms of cricket. Also I thank BCCI, UP Cricket Association, IPL team CSK and Rajeev Shukla. I also thank the fans for supporting me.

Retired from all forms of cricket

Suresh Raina took retirement from international cricket in the year 2020. After this, he was seen playing in the Uttar Pradesh team and IPL in domestic cricket. But the story changed completely in the year 2020, when Chennai Super Kings did not retain him and no team bought him in IPL Mega Auction 2022. Suresh Raina has taken this step to play in foreign leagues.

Played all three formats for India

Suresh Raina (Suresh Raina) is fondly called by his fans as Mr. IPL. Suresh Raina last played in the Indian jersey in the England series in July 2018. He retired from international cricket in 2020. He scored 5,615 runs in 226 ODIs and 1605 runs in 78 T20 matches for India. Raina scored 763 runs in 18 test matches. He was a member of the team that won the World Cup 2011 and Champions Trophy 2013 under the captaincy of MS Dhoni.
