Honda City e:HEV: Today the highest mileage vehicle in the sedan segment has been launched. It can make a splash in the Indian market leaving many vehicles behind. Actually Honda has launched the new Honda City in the market today. The new City E: HEV is the company’s first car to be equipped with hybrid electric technology. You can book it online from the company’s official website by paying Rs 21000.
Features
City E: HEV comes with three driving modes EV Drive, Hybrid Drive and Engine Drive. It also gets a host of safety features, which include anti-braking system (CMBS), cruise control, RDM, lane keeping assist system (LKAS) and auto high-beam.

The new Honda City e:HEV is powered by a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine mated to an electric motor powered by a lithium-ion battery pack. The car’s engine generates 124 bhp power and 253 Nm of peak torque, out of which 127 Nm of torque comes from the car’s petrol engine.
Mileage
The new Honda City gives the highest mileage of 26.5 kmpl in its segment. Apart from this, if we talk about Maruti’s Celerio, it gives a mileage of 26.68kmpl. However, considering the segment the new City belongs to, the Celerio does not stand anywhere ahead of the City in terms of look and size. Celerio is quite small in size. The new City, on the other hand, is a very big car. The new City is also equipped with 37 connected features, including Alexa and OK Google. Honda is planning to launch 30 EV models globally by 2030. The company aims to invest around USD 40 billion in the EV space over the next 10 years.

City E: HEV price is Rs 19.49 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The company is giving a standard 3-year unlimited kilometer warranty. Along with this, a warranty of 8 years or 1.6 lakh km is being given on the Lithium Ion battery from the date of purchase of the car.
