CRPF Constable Recruitment 2023: Ministry of Home Affairs has issued rules for constable recruitment. Big news for the candidates preparing for CRPF constable recruitment. The Union Ministry of Home Affairs has released the notification for the recruitment of Constable rank posts in the Central Reserve Police Force.

According to an update by the news agency ANI, the notification regarding CRPF constable recruitment was issued by the ministry on Wednesday, April 5, 2023. According to the notification regarding CRPF constable recruitment 2023, recruitment is to be done on the vacant posts of constables on the pay scale of pay-level 3 (Rs. 21,700- Rs.69,100) under Group C.

CRPF Recruitment 2023: 1.3 lakh constable recruitment in CRPF

Also, as per the agency update, 1.3 lakh constable posts are also to be announced in CRPF. However, the vacancy break-up for these posts has not been shared in the Ministry of Home Affairs notification. In such a situation, candidates will be able to see information about CRPF Constable Recruitment 2023 notification and commencement of application process on the official website of CRPF, crpf.gov.in and recruitment portal, rect.crpf.gov.in.

CRPF Recruitment 2023: Eligibility for CRPF Constable Recruitment

According to the notification related to CRPF Constable Recruitment 2023 Rules by the Ministry of Home Affairs, only those candidates are eligible to apply who have passed matriculation (class 10) examination from a recognized board or have any other equivalent qualification. Also, the age of the candidates should not be less than 18 years and not more than 23 years as on the prescribed cut-off date. However, candidates belonging to reserved categories will be given relaxation in the upper age limit as per the rules of the Central Government.

CRPF Recruitment 2023: Selection Process for CRPF Constable Recruitment

Information about the selection process has not been given in the CRPF Constable Recruitment 2023 manual. However, as per the currently ongoing 9712 Constable Recruitment Notification by CRPF, the candidates will be selected on the basis of written test and Physical Standard Test (PST). The written test will be of 2 hours duration and 25 questions each will be asked from General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Knowledge & General Awareness, General Mathematics and English/ Hindi. For every correct answer 1 mark will be prescribed and for every wrong answer 0.25 mark will be deducted. Candidates will be able to see the syllabus information in the recruitment notification.
